PTS’ services are broadly divided into the following categorie

Departments

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: At the end of the whole programme, the kids and teens should be able to:
  • Identify notes, be able to play them constantly on a musical instrument and convert sounds to notes.
  • Play at least a musical instrument professionally.
  • Know and apply their voice texture, pitch level & dynamism
  • Identify and play in at least one major genre.
  • Combine voice and instrument to produce self-composed song arrangement.

CATEGORIES: Beginners (3-18) Intermediate (7-18) Advanced (11-18)

MEDIA: Theoretical Practical Audio Visual Discussion with a known personality in the field

TIME ALLOCATION:

  • Warm up: 10mins
  • Revision: 15mins
  • Theoretical: 20mins
  • Practical (instrument & voicing): 60mins
  • Freestyle session: 15mins

ASSESSMENT: Give assignments, class practical’s and group work to check the improvement of the kids and teens and to know if they qualify to go to the next level.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: To make the kids and teens become professional models in any of the categories they choose to major in. They should know all the categories of Modelling, the criteria for each and the one they are most suitable for.

CATEGORIES: Beginners (3-18) Intermediate (5-18) Advanced (11-18)

MEDIA: Practical Theoretical Audio-visuals Discussion with a known personality in the field

TIME ALLOCATION:

  • Warm up exercises: 10mins
  • Theory: 10mins
  • Audio-visual: 10mins
  • Practical: 30mins

ASSESSMENT: Making them do a regular presentation / showcase in every of the class and when they start becoming majors in an aspect of modeling. Making them do voice-over and compose a video advert which will be shot and analysed by them.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: At the end of the drama programme, the kids and teens should be able:
  • Play at least two different roles in a drama production instrument and convert sounds to notes.
  • Do a successful stage acting, using all the elements & rules involved in it
  • Do a simple set design, make-up or costuming for a production
  • Write a story on their own that can be dramatized

CATEGORIES: Beginners (3-18) Intermediate (7-18) Advanced (11-18)

MEDIA: Theoretical Practical Audio Visual Discussion with a known personality in the field

TIME ALLOCATION:

  • Warm up exercises: 10mins
  • Revision: 20mins
  • Brief history: 20mins
  • Practical: 60mins

ASSESSMENT: This will be done through practical class activities, assignment & group work which will determine the kid’s/Teen’s readiness to proceed to the next level.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: At the end of the programme, the kids and teens should be good enough to major in at least one of the major types of Art. They should be able to appreciate works of Art and produce something creative on their own, putting all the elements into consideration.

CATEGORIES: Beginners (3-18) Intermediate (5-18) Advanced (11-18)

MEDIA: Practical Theory Audio Visuals Discussion with a known personality in the field

TIME ALLOCATION:

  • Theory: 10mins
  • Practical: 90mins
  • Audio-visual: 10mins
  • Revision: 10mins

ASSESSMENT: Class work and assignment will be used to check the level of the student’s creativity. Contribution to the group work will also be used to determine if the student is ready for the next level.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: At the end of the dance programme, the kids and teens should be:
  • Flexible to do any kind of dance.
  • Able to analyze dances, using elements
  • Able to choreograph dances
  • Able to dance according to professional standards
  • Able to differentiate and identify dances, using their movement patterns

CATEGORIES: Beginners (3-18) Intermediate (5-18) Advanced (11-18)

MEDIA: Practical Theory Audio Visuals Discussion with a known personality in the field

TIME ALLOCATION:

  • Warm up exercises: 20mins
  • Brief theoretical summary: 10mins
  • Review of Assignment: 10mins
  • Instructing, Main practical: 45mins
  • Audio-Visual: 15mins
  • Activities: 20mins

ASSESSMENT: Giving them assignments, classwork, individual & group projects to work on based on what they’ve been taught. Watching their improvements during their personal presentation. Their contribution in the group presentation will determine if they are ready for the next level or not.
